SES shares rise 3.5% intraday ahead of its November 5 results
The Luxembourg-based satellite operator closed the session on a positive note, in a Paris market supported by a general rise in indices. The stock ranks among the top performers of its index, on the eve of the company's financial event.
A rebound that brings the share price back above its short-term averages
The SES share gains 3.39% to €4.27 intraday, while the SBF 120 rises 2.07%. The stock is thus 6.6% above its 20-day moving average (MM20) and 2% above its 50-day moving average (MM50), while it remains 27.2% below its 200-day moving average (MM200), which still weighs on the underlying trend.
Over the week, the price is virtually unchanged (-0.14%), but it is still down 17.2% over three months when taking into account the €0.25 interim dividend detached on October 13. The MACD, whose histogram is positive, accompanies this recovery.
Third-quarter results are expected tomorrow, Thursday, November 5
