Soitec, laggard of the SBF 120, falls 3.5% and loses 38% in one month
The Isère-based manufacturer of semiconductor substrates closes the bottom of its index, in a Parisian market that is nonetheless well oriented. The stock extends a marked pullback phase, while two major banks had revised their opinions in the opposite direction the day before.
A broken support that turns into resistance, in contact with the MM200
Soitec shares lose 3.77% to €105.90 intraday, the last stock in the SBF 120, which gains 0.52%.
The stock has fallen below its lowest level of the last 30 sessions, at €110.05, a level that now acts as resistance. It trades at the 200-day moving average (€105.70), while remaining well below the 20-day moving average (€127.26) and the 50-day moving average (€135.88).
The decline reaches 13.97% over one week and nearly 38% over one month, in a market where the Nasdaq gained 1.44% on Wednesday. The RSI at 35 signals prolonged selling pressure, without the stock being in oversold territory.
