SPIE shares fall nearly 6% over three months and struggle below their MM200
The multi-technical services group is falling mid-session in a Parisian market clearly trending lower after the Wall Street correction. Its share price is retreating without reaching the steepest declines of the index, while its latest quarterly figures confirmed the trajectory announced for the year.
A decline that leaves the stock between its short-term averages and its MM200
SPIE shares lose 1.87% to €44.06, after €44.90 the previous day. The CAC 40 falls 1.63% and the SBF 120 1.64%, while the Nasdaq closed Thursday down 5.52%.
The stock is thus retreating roughly in line with the index, without distancing itself from it. The move does not call into question the rebound under way over the month: SPIE still gains 4.06% over this period, despite a 5.81% decline over three months.
The price remains above its MM20 (€42.48, a gap of 3.72%) and its MM50 (€42.93), but below its MM200, at €46.78. The latter, located 5.81% above the price, has capped the upper bound of the configuration for several weeks.
The RSI at 57 remains neutral. The stock is thus trading in an intermediate zone, at a distance from its resistance at €45.04 as well as its support at €40.56.
Third-quarter results that confirm the 2026 targets
SPIE published its third-quarter revenue on October 30, up 13.7% to €2,886.8 million. In connection with these nine-month results, organic growth reached 4.7% in the third quarter, according to information released by the group.
Seven announced acquisitions represent nearly €800 million in annual revenue, and the group confirmed its outlook for 2026.
Among the risks cited are the increasingly volatile macroeconomic and political environment, and the disruption to business activity in the Middle East following the outbreak of the conflict with Iran.
The group also announced on October 29 the acquisition of 76% of Austria's SAR, which generates around €100 million in revenue, with completion expected in early 2027. A €59 million share buyback programme, announced on July 30, completes the shareholder return arrangements.
