Atos Group Share: -58% Over One Year, Stock Falls Another 2%
The IT services and cybersecurity group ranks among the weakest performers in its index, while the Paris stock market edges slightly higher. The decline extends a prolonged deterioration, just days before the quarterly earnings release.
A Session in Decline Within an SBF 120 That Still Advances
Atos Group falls 2.18% to €21.52 during the session, while the SBF 120 gains 0.21% and the CAC 40 advances 0.26%. The stock is among the index's biggest losers. Over one month, losses reach 14.81%, and over one year the stock has lost nearly 58% of its value. From a technical standpoint, the price remains below its three moving averages: the gap is 3.67% with the 20-day MA (€22.34), 16.69% with the 50-day MA, and over 40% with the 200-day MA.
The support level at €20.38 is drawing closer, less than 6% from the current price. Net short positions now represent 3.68% of capital, distributed among four funds according to available disclosures, up 0.78 points compared to thirty days ago. This level reveals institutional investors positioned negatively on the stock, but the monthly gains remain modest and reveal nothing about these funds' motivations. Atos also announced on October 14 that its collaboration with Fortinet was moving to a unified global partnership for reselling cybersecurity solutions and managed services.
Third Quarter Results Expected on October 21
Atos will publish its third quarter 2026 results on October 21. During the first half 2026 publication on July 30, the group indicated it was targeting organic revenue growth of approximately -5% and an operating margin of approximately 7% of revenue. The group had adopted a cautious tone regarding these outlook figures.
These two benchmarks will serve as a comparison basis for the next announcement. In the meantime, the stock has accumulated a decline of more than 34% over three months.
