Vusion shares among the sharpest declines on the SBF 120, falling 2%
The manufacturer of electronic shelf labels is losing ground in late afternoon trading, in an SBF 120 that is barely moving. The decline partially erases last week's surge, which had followed the publication of its quarterly sales.
A decline that places Vusion among the SBF 120's biggest losers
The Vusion share is down 2.16% to €127.10, while the SBF 120 is stable at 5,982.89 points. This decline ranks it among the index's sharpest declines, behind JCDecaux (-3.97%), Eutelsat (-3.70%), Dassault Systèmes (-3.52%), Vivendi (-3.40%) and Alten (-3.34%) which close the rankings.
The stock nonetheless remains above its three moving averages: the 20-day MA at €124.79 is exceeded by 1.85%, the 50-day MA at €124.66 by 1.96% and the 200-day MA at €124.86 by 1.79%.
In other words, today's session cuts into last week's gains (+5.13% over seven days) without undermining this foundation, especially since the support level at €115.80 remains at a distance. The third quarter revenue, published on October 20, showed adjusted growth of 25% and €462 million in new orders, up 10%.
Net short positions declining sharply over a month, one year of losses to digest
The net short positions declared on the security have fallen back to 2.15% of capital, driven by three funds, compared to 3.91% thirty days ago. This decline of 1.76 points suggests a reduction in bearish bets, though no conclusion can be drawn about the intentions of market participants.
The road remains long for the stock, which is still down more than 45% over one year, despite a gain of 2.42% over one month.
In parallel, the company has repurchased €16 million worth of shares over twelve months, equivalent to 0.7% of its market capitalization (latest declaration from July 17). The next key level to watch remains the €135 resistance, crossed on October 21 when sales were published.
