Airbus shares among the biggest decliners on the CAC 40 after its first nine months 2026 results
The European aircraft manufacturer is losing ground in early afternoon trading, in a Paris market that is nearly flat. The decline comes a few days after the publication of its nine-month accounts and contrasts with the stock's performance over the month.
A stock that remains anchored to its medium-term moving averages
Airbus shares fall 1.25% to €193.62 in early afternoon trading, among the biggest decliners on the CAC 40, while the index remains virtually unchanged (-0.06%). The drop brings the price back to the MA50 at €194.44 (a gap of 0.42%).
Nevertheless, the stock remains above the MA200 at €188.01, a gap of 2.98%. Over the month, it gains 2.28%, while the quarter remains negative at -4.24%. The day's decline therefore partly offsets the monthly gain without erasing it.
