CTT: Over €23.4M Invested in Public Debt via App in August, a Record
Grupo CTT reported an increase in subscriptions made through its digital savings functionality. The Portuguese group highlights the strengthening role of its application in the subscription of public debt securities.
Nearly €325M Invested via CTT App Since July 2024
According to the statement dated September 9, 2026, savers invested in public debt via the CTT App an average daily amount of 1.1 million euros in August, the best month since the service launch. The total amount invested in Savings Certificates (Certificados de Aforro) and Treasury Certificates (Certificados do Tesouro) exceeded 23.4 million euros for the month, representing a level 3% higher than that of July. The group attributes this development to the adoption of the digital savings functionality, also driven by the entry into force of the new Treasury Certificates series. Since the launch of this functionality in July 2024, customers have invested nearly 325 million euros via the CTT App.
