DBV Technologies shares top the SBF 120 with a rebound of nearly 9%
The Châtillon-based biotech reverses the downtrend of recent weeks and leads the Paris market, in a stagnating market. This rebound comes a few days after quarterly accounts accompanied by a warning on the going concern.
A rebound that puts the stock ahead of the entire SBF 120
The DBV Technologies share gains 8.85% to €1.77 at the end of the afternoon, the largest gain in the SBF 120, which falls 0.02%.
Inventiva (+8.53%) follows closely in a well-oriented biotech sector. This upturn puts into perspective the 6.93% decline recorded over one month. It does, however, leave the stock at -24.6% over three months and -32.5% over one year.
The price moves back above its 20-period moving average (MM20) of €1.71, a gap of +3.63%, but remains below the MM50 at €1.99, a gap of -10.95%.
The rebound occurs a few cents above the €1.57 support, which the stock had approached in recent days.
Net declared short positions, which had reached 4.53% of the capital thirty days ago, have fallen back to 2.89% according to the declarations consulted, spread across four funds. This decline in declared selling pressure coincides with the price recovery, without it being possible to conclude a cause-and-effect link.
An FDA filing and a funding requirement that remain at the forefront
The accounts for the first nine months, published on October 28, 2026, highlighted substantial doubt about the group's ability to continue as a going concern beyond twelve months.
The company states that it needs additional capital to finance its activities beyond the third quarter of 2027. It also says it raised $50 million via ADSs and reactivated an at-the-market issuance program of $150 million.
On the regulatory front, the filing for the Viaskin Peanut patch for children aged 4 to 7 was submitted to the FDA at the end of September, with a request for priority review.
A decision from the agency is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. The stock is listed in Paris and as ADSs on Nasdaq, one ADS representing five ordinary shares since late November 2024. The FDA is the main regulatory milestone for the file.
