Clariane shares rebound 1.5% but lose nearly 20% over the quarter
The provider of medicalised nursing homes and home care services recovers in late afternoon, after a session of decline. The move comes as the Paris market remains virtually stable, amid tensions over French public debt.
A rebound that recovers only a tiny portion of the quarterly decline
Clariane gains 1.71% to €3.21, while the CAC 40 is flat and the SBF 120 is unchanged. This rise places it 14th in the index, without bringing it into the leading group, led this Tuesday by biotechnology stocks such as DBV Technologies. It barely eases the 19.65% decline recorded over three months, while the one-month performance is virtually nil (-0.37%).
The stock remains below its three moving averages: the MM20 at €3.26 is 1.7% above the price, the MM50 at €3.62 is more than 11% above. The RSI at 41 remains neutral.
In early November, the price had broken its support at €3.11, a level it had regained on 28 October. Emeis, another listed player in the sector, gains 1.33% and shows a 29.12% decline over three months.
Targets confirmed after a third quarter of growth
On 28 October, Clariane published revenue of €1,352 million for the third quarter, up 4.9% on an organic basis and 2.4% on a reported basis.
On this occasion, the group confirmed its operational and financial targets, including average annual organic revenue growth of around 5% and pro forma EBITDA growth before IFRS 16 of between 7% and 9% per year over 2025-2028.
Among the risks cited in this release were macroeconomic uncertainties linked to the Middle East and the gradual improvement in occupancy rates, on which the trajectory depends. The stock is at €3.21, far from the €3.99 resistance level.
