Drone Volt to Represent and Market DK Unity's Interceptors in France and Francophone Countries
At the Eurosatory trade show, Drone Volt announced a partnership agreement with the Latvian company DK Unity. The French professional drone manufacturer becomes the exclusive representative and distributor of the NS1, NS2, and NS3 interceptor drones in France and Francophone countries.
A Partnership Signed on Tuesday in Response to Drone Threats
The agreement was formalized on Tuesday, June 16, in the presence of Stefano Valentini, chairman of the board of Drone Volt, and Vladimir Rusanov, CEO of DK Unity. This commercial partnership addresses a growing demand for drone interception solutions, both from military forces and entities involved in security and protection of sensitive infrastructures.
Based in Latvia, DK Unity develops next-generation autonomous UAV systems that have been proven in operational deployments in Ukraine. Its interceptor drones feature resilient data links, disruption-resistant flight computers, and local navigation enabling their reuse.
Three Models for Three Levels of Interception
Drone Volt's range includes three distinct models. The NS1, a low-cost lightweight interceptor drone, reaches speeds of 180 km/h to neutralize reconnaissance and surveillance drones, with a payload capacity of 2 kg. The NS2, capable of 220 km/h, is designed to intercept medium-range reconnaissance drones and munitions over longer distances.
The NS3, the fastest in the range, cruises at 210 km/h with speed peaks of 350 km/h. It is presented as the solution to avoidance drones and ISR systems that could bypass conventional interceptors.
Enhancing the Defense Offering
Stefano Valentini states that this partnership 'allows us to enrich our anti-drone offerings' and 'is part of Drone Volt's strategy to provide innovative and sovereign solutions that meet the growing needs of defense, security, and critical infrastructure protection actors.'
