Euronext share sets historic record at €163.60 in trading session
After shattering its all-time high during the session, the share of the pan-European stock exchange operator is trading well above its moving averages in a well-oriented European market. The upward revision of Oddo BHF's price target, published this Thursday, reinforces the momentum of the stock against a backdrop of record second-quarter results.
Historic record breached with RSI in marked overbought territory
Euronext touched €163.60 during the session, erasing its previous all-time high of €163.50. The share is now trading at €161.70, representing a gain of 0.37% compared to the previous day's close of €161.10. This advance is part of a sustained upward momentum: the share is showing nearly 7% gains over the week and more than 9.5% over one month.
The RSI at 73 signals an overbought configuration, consistent with rapid progress over several weeks. The price is solidly anchored above its three moving averages: it exceeds the 20-day MA (€151.10) by more than 7%, the 50-day MA (€146.53) by more than 10%, and the 200-day MA (€135.39) by nearly 20%. The next identified level is situated at €165.00, a psychological threshold above the current price that has never been tested.
Oddo BHF raises its target to €175 following record quarterly results
Oddo BHF updated its opinion on Euronext this Thursday, raising its price target from €155 to €175, while maintaining its "Outperform" opinion. At €161.70, the current price leaves approximately 8% upside potential relative to this new target. Goldman Sachs, for its part, adjusted its target from €159 to €162 on August 4, adopting a "Market perform" opinion.
This revision comes in the wake of Q2 2026 results published on July 30, which showed underlying revenue growth of 16.9%, adjusted EBITDA up 21.1%, and record adjusted earnings per share of €2.42. The market context remains favorable: the CAC 40 is gaining 0.67% during the session and the VIX is easing to 15.85, down nearly 4% from the previous day.
