Exosens shares slip below their €54.95 support and fall 2.5%
The Bordeaux-based optronics company is moving lower, against the grain of a Paris market that is clearly rising. This decline extends a downward trend that has been under way for several sessions and places the stock among the weakest performers in its index.
A support broken intraday, now a resistance around €54.95
Exosens shares lost 2.43% to €54.10, while the SBF 120 gained 1.47%. The stock broke intraday through its €54.95 support, the lowest of the last 30 sessions, and now trades below that level, which has turned into resistance.
The next support lies at €52.65. This breakdown comes with the price sitting below all three moving averages: the stock is 5.58% below the MA20 (€57.30) and 10.24% below the MA200 (€60.27).
The RSI at 39 remains in neutral territory, with no oversold signal. In this SBF 120 ranking, Exosens is among the largest decliners of the session, behind Mersen, Soitec and Thales.
A decline of nearly 5% over the week, despite a sharp rise in third-quarter results
The stock has lost 4.75% over seven days and 8.62% over one month, a move that contrasts with the third-quarter results published on October 27: revenue of €133.8 million, up 23.5%. The rebound observed on October 29, following these announcements, did not hold.
Over three months, the decline reaches 8.77%, while the one-year performance remains positive at 9.07%.
For reference, the group's business is based on image intensifier tubes and detectors intended for defense and nuclear applications, segments that supported growth in the third quarter. The €54.95 level is now the one the share price must recover to erase this breakdown.
