Mersen shares rise 14% in a week after raised target
The specialist in carbon materials and electrical solutions extends its momentum in a slightly positive Paris market. This rise follows the publication of its quarterly sales and an upgrade of its annual outlook. The stock, already strongly bullish over the past year, is approaching a technical zone observed for several weeks.
A 14% rebound over the week, supported by three moving averages
Mersen shares gain 1.88% to €40.00 in mid-afternoon trading, while the CAC 40 rises 0.31% and the SBF 120 rises 0.27%. The stock has gained 14.16% over seven days, a gain that contrasts with the 2.87% decline over one month and brings it back above the three moving averages.
The price is 1.63% above the MM20 (€39.36) and 16% above the MM200 (€34.48), a gap that reflects the resumption of the underlying trend. Mersen had nevertheless lost ground in mid-October, before the publication of October 28 relaunched the movement.

On October 28, the group published third-quarter revenue of €329.2 million, with organic growth of 14.2%. Mersen raised its organic growth target for 2026, now between 6.5% and 7.5% versus 4% to 6% previously, while confirming its margin objectives.
In its communication, management indicated that this publication allowed it to raise this target for the second time this year. The stock is now about 9% below its resistance at €43.96, a level the share had approached after the financial statements, while its support lies at €35.04.
