Publicis Groupe shares break above €103.75 and gain 3% intraday
The advertising group is among the strong gainers on a well-oriented CAC 40, following an already solid week. The stock is trading at levels it had not reached for a very long time, after the completion of an acquisition in the United States.
A breakout that puts the stock above its highs of the past 250 sessions
Publicis Groupe gains 3.06% to €104.25, above its previous high of the last 250 sessions (€104.10), which now acts as support.
The move began with the intraday break of the €103.75 resistance, and the share price is holding above that level. It extends an already well-oriented trend: +4.61% over the week and +10.62% over one month.
The stock is also 3.87% above its 20-day moving average (€100.37), confirming that the rise has been building over several weeks. The Paris index rose 2.09% over the same period, and Publicis ranks among the strongest gainers on the CAC 40 without leading it.
LiveRamp and AI: a completed acquisition that broadens Publicis' offering to advertisers
The group completed the acquisition of LiveRamp on November 2, following the approval obtained from the FTC in mid-October. At the same time, it launched an artificial intelligence engine intended for advertisers, deployed within their own environments. This acquisition is a dated event, published two days ago, and it does not on its own explain the move in today's session.
Declared net short positions reach 3.09% of the capital, spread across four funds, with no change over thirty days: a stable level with no notable movement over the month. On the technical side, the RSI at 65 remains below the overbought zone, and the next round level above the current price is €105.
