Ubisoft shares rebound 5%, but remain down 26.5% over three months
Shares of the Brittany-based publisher recover sharply mid-session, in a well-oriented Paris market. The move follows a very difficult October, which had made the stock one of the most battered in the broader index, and places it at the top of the day's ranking.
A rebound that places Ubisoft among the strongest gainers of the SBF 120
Ubisoft shares gain 5.24% to €4.12 intraday, compared with €3.91 at the previous close. The stock is among the strongest performers of the SBF 120, behind Viridien and Métropole TV, while the index rises 1.49%.
The CAC 40 gains 1.53% and the DAX 1.48%, placing the move within a well-oriented session in Europe. The stock had fallen below its support at €4.10 on Monday, after a series of declines.
Today's rebound does not erase this decline, as the stock still loses 4.9% over seven days and 17.3% over one month.
A stock that remains well below its moving averages, with an RSI at 31
Despite today's gain, the price remains well below its three moving averages. The gap reaches 10.67% with the MM20 at €4.61, and 15.44% with the MM200 at €4.87.
The RSI at 31 remains close to the oversold zone, describing a stock still far from any trend reversal: the €3.91 support level, which corresponds to the previous day's close, and the €5.43 resistance bound the observed zone.
On the market, declared net short positions reach 10.09% of share capital, spread across nine funds, down 1.50 points over thirty days. This level remains high: a significant share of the capital remains positioned for a decline, even though selling pressure has eased slightly over the past month.
