Valbiotis opens a sales channel on Amazon France, the pharmacy remains central
In a press release published on October 26, 2026, the La Rochelle-based laboratory presented the marketplace as a complementary channel to the pharmacy, intended to reach new consumer profiles. All of its product ranges will be marketed there from mid-November onwards.
A third channel alongside pharmacies and the valbiotis.com website
Valbiotis indicated that this step is part of its commercial strategy, which aims to "strengthen the visibility and accessibility" of its natural health products by diversifying purchasing pathways and points of contact with its customer base. The group's multichannel distribution had previously been based on two pillars: pharmacies, where products are available on open shelf with the advice of pharmacy staff, and the valbiotis.com website, which extends distribution beyond the pharmacy network. The company specified that the pharmacy "remains the central location" of its distribution in France. Amazon France is expected to reach, beyond customers already familiar with the brand, consumers accustomed to marketplaces. According to the Fevad and Médiamétrie/NetRatings barometer cited by the laboratory, the platform has 41.2 million unique visitors per month, making it the leading audience in e-commerce in France. The choice is based on IQVIA data cited in the press release: the French dietary supplements market reached 2 billion euros in 2025, up 4.7%. Online sales represent only 8.3% of sales, but generated 28% of the market's growth in 2025, compared to 13% in 2024, and Amazon is showing expected growth of 19% for 2026.
Marketing from mid-November
Products have been listed on the platform since October 26. The Valbiotis PRO ranges (Cholesterol, Metabolic Health, Cardio-circulation and Liver, the latter launched in September) and Valbiotis PLUS (eight references) will be fully marketed from mid-November onwards, allowing time to set up dedicated advertising campaigns. Amazon will initiate first deliveries on this same date. Valbiotis indicated that it will retain control of its pricing policy on the platform in order to preserve the positioning of its products. The company presents the opening of this channel as achieved "without significant investment". This announcement comes after the publication on October 12, 2026, of half-yearly accounts, on which occasion the laboratory had abandoned several commercial objectives. The press release also recalls the benefit granted to shareholders: a 20% reduction on the Valbiotis PRO and Valbiotis PLUS ranges, upon proof of holding at least 85 shares.
