Valeo Launches Key Factory in India to Equip Mahindra Electric Vehicles
On Saturday, March 28, Valeo inaugurated a new production line dedicated to electric powertrains in Pune, India. This facility is part of the group's 'Elevate 2028' strategic plan and follows Valeo's selection by Mahindra to equip its new 'Born Electric' platform.
The new production line at the Pune factory manufactures 3-in-1 e-Axles that integrate the motor, inverter, and reducer into a compact and efficient system. Developed and manufactured in India, this e-Axle is used in the new models of Mahindra's Born Electric platform. The facility boasts advanced production capabilities to manufacture this system, which offers high efficiency, optimized performance, and enhanced reliability.
