Vusion shares break through their €144.40 resistance and reach a 150-session high
The maker of electronic shelf labels continues its rise following a commercial announcement with a major British retailer. It moves into the top half of its index, in a well-oriented Paris market.
A new threshold cleared, with the stock well above its moving averages
The stock gains 2.22% to €147.60 and intraday broke through its €144.40 resistance, before reaching the highest level of the last 150 sessions, at €147. These two levels now become supports.
The previous day, the break above €140 had already marked the session. The rise amounts to nearly 15.5% over the week and 14.2% over one month.
The share price sits 14.6% above its MM20 and 17.4% above its MM50, a gap that the RSI at 74 places in overbought territory. The stock nevertheless remains down 33.9% over one year, following a difficult first half.
Marks & Spencer and In-Store Media feed the group's commercial agenda
On November 4, Vusion announced that Marks & Spencer will deploy its EdgeSense smart rails in several new stores, with a possible extension to other outlets of the retailer.
One week earlier, the group had completed the acquisition of In-Store Media, which adds to its platform an in-store advertising space sales business. Its third-quarter sales, published on October 20, showed order intake of €462 million, up 10%.
Net short positions declared on the stock reach 2.15% of the share capital, spread across three funds, compared with 3.91% one month earlier: the decline of 1.76 points signals a bearish bet that is significantly unwinding. This configuration leaves the €215.40 resistance as the stock's next bullish reference point.
