Atos Group shares rise 20.5% over one month and target their resistance level
The IT services and cybersecurity group is recovering mid-session in a well-oriented Parisian market. This rebound follows a decline the previous day and approaches a technical level that has been monitored for several weeks.
A rebound that brings the stock back above its 20- and 50-day moving averages
Atos Group shares gain 3.1% to €26.64 intraday, compared with €25.84 the previous day, while the CAC 40 rises 1.54%.
The stock is 10.3% above its 20-day moving average (MA20) (€24.15) and 9.1% above its 50-day moving average (MA50) (€24.42), but remains 21.7% below its 200-day moving average (MA200) (€34.01). The resistance at €27.78, which halted the rise on November 2, is 4.3% away from the current price.
Over one month, the stock has gained 20.9%, while over three months it has still lost 16.2%. This session follows the October 21 publication, which reported a limited organic decline of 2.4% in the third quarter and the first generation of positive cash flow since the Genesis plan. At the time of the October 21, 2026 publication, the group also maintained a cautious tone regarding its 2026 fiscal year objectives.
Four more funds among short sellers in one month, at 4.38% of share capital
Net declared short positions reach 4.38% of share capital, spread across five funds according to the declarations consulted, the latest dated October 29. They have increased by 0.87 points over thirty days, compared with 3.51% one month earlier. This level signals institutional investors positioned on the downside on the stock, or seeking to hedge an exposure, which remains to be monitored without drawing any conclusion about the direction of the share price.
On the business side, the group presented on November 3 its ISG ranking on agentic AI, in the quadrant of major global service providers, compared with 'Market Challenger' in 2025. The analyst opinions on the stock are available separately. The stock is among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120, which rises 1.5%.
