Bureau Veritas stock leads CAC 40 after €1 billion AI target

Leading the CAC 40 after raising 2027-2028 growth targets
Bureau Veritas stock gains 1.29% to €27.50 during the session, posting the best performance in the CAC 40 while the index declines 0.08%. The group held its Investor Day this morning, an opportunity for it to confirm the main lines of its LEAP | 28 plan while raising its revenue growth target for 2027-2028 and setting a revenue target dedicated to artificial intelligence, set at 1 billion euros. This update comes three years after the strategic plan was launched. CIC Market Solutions for its part maintains a buy rating on the stock, with a price target of €31.00, representing an upside potential of approximately 12.7% compared to the current price.
A stock in contact with its moving averages, amid ongoing share buybacks
Today's advance brings the stock exactly to the level of its 20-day (€27.53) and 50-day (€27.62) moving averages, two levels that the price has not yet broken above. The RSI at 41 remains in neutral territory, without particular tension signals in either direction. Below, the support at €27.05 constitutes the first floor to watch; above, resistance at €28.40 represents the next level to break through to trigger stronger momentum.
Furthermore, the €200 million share buyback program announced in February 2026 remains in execution, approximately 3% completed as of September 11. The full-year 2026 results will be the next major financial milestone for holders of the stock.
