Clariane shares rebound 3.5%, but lose 15.5% over the quarter
The operator of medicalised retirement homes and home care services extends its recovery at midday, in a well-oriented Parisian market. This rebound comes as an analysis firm has just adjusted its target, while the stock remains well below its summer levels.
A clear rebound, but still below medium-term moving averages
The stock gains 3.38% to €3.43 and, among SBF 120 stocks, ranks near the top, behind SES and Air France-KLM, two stocks posting double-digit gains.
The move brings Clariane 4.77% above its MM20 (€3.27), while the MM50 (€3.60) remains 4.83% above the share price. This rebound extends a week of +5.42%, but it only recovers a small part of the 15.41% decline over three months, so the MM200 (€3.87), 11.47% above the share price, remains out of reach.
In a market where the CAC 40 rises 0.48% and the SBF 120 rises 0.52%, the stock outperforms the index. Another stock in the sector, Emeis, advances 3.53% on the session after a 26% decline over three months, a downward trajectory comparable to that of Clariane.
Exane BNP Paribas lowers its target to €4.20, 22% above the share price
Yesterday, Exane BNP Paribas lowered its price target on Clariane from €4.60 to €4.20, while maintaining its outperform rating. This new target implies a potential of approximately 22.6% relative to the current share price.
The publication of third-quarter revenue on 28 October had shown organic growth of 4.9%, driven by the occupancy of retirement homes, and the group then confirmed all of its operational and financial targets. It aims for an average annual organic revenue growth of around 5% by 2028. Analysts' opinions can be found in the analyst consensus on Clariane.
