Eramet shares jump nearly 5% and gain 16% in one week
The mining and metallurgical group rebounds sharply this Wednesday, in a well-oriented Paris market. It climbs to the top of the SBF 120 and erases part of its recent decline, while its project to strengthen its financial position remains at the forefront.
A rebound that brings the stock back above its 20-day moving average after a week of +16%
Eramet shares gain 4.96% to €39.76, compared with €37.88 at the previous day's close, while the SBF 120 rises 1.49%.
The stock ranks among the strongest gainers in the index and extends a movement begun last week: it shows a gain of nearly 16% over seven days, but remains down 10% over one month. This recovery places it 5.35% above its 20-day moving average (€37.74), which it had dropped back below on Monday.
The 50-day moving average, at €41.89, remains 5% above the price, while the 200-day moving average, at €49.99, is far above. Brent, at $102.20 per barrel, falls 1.35% over the same period. As a reminder, the group published on October 29 a revenue increase of 4% in the third quarter, with an adjusted EBITDA target for 2026 between €540 million and €610 million.
A €500 million capital increase expected in the fourth quarter
The stock has been moving for several weeks around the group's financial strengthening project. In a press release published on the evening of October 12, Eramet confirmed its intention to launch in the fourth quarter the capital increase with preferential subscription rights of €500 million announced in February, which it considers essential to restoring its financial situation.
The MACD, whose histogram has moved back into positive territory (0.58), accompanies this rebound, while the RSI at 52 remains neutral. On the resistance side, the €45.66 level remains the nearest bullish reference point, with support at €33.74. Over one year, the stock still falls nearly 29%.
