ID Logistics: Laurent Jayr Takes Helm of Its Real Estate Subsidiary Financière ID
The contract logistics group has entrusted the management of its real estate subsidiary to a specialist in industrial and logistics real estate. He succeeds Christophe Hamon, who will step down at the end of the year after fifteen years dedicated to developing this business.
A Panattoni Veteran Tasked with Steering the Group's Real Estate Strategy
ID Logistics has announced the appointment of Laurent Jayr as Managing Director of Financière ID, a subsidiary specialized in the construction and delivery of turnkey warehouses. In his new role, he is responsible for defining and implementing the real estate strategy of the subsidiary.
He will oversee project design, administrative and regulatory procedures, site management, as well as the financial structuring of operations and leasing solutions. Financière ID is involved at every stage of a real estate project, from land identification and acquisition through to construction, building delivery, and subsequent transfer to a real estate investor.
A graduate of Sciences Po Toulouse and holder of an MBA from ESC Pau / ICADE Madrid, Laurent Jayr began his career in 1996. Having worked at ERAI and AVO Industries, he joined GSE in 2002, where he notably held the position of Development Director for Spain, Portugal, and North Africa.
He subsequently worked at Abertis Parques Logísticos/Saba, then at VGP and Panattoni. Since 2020, he held the position of "Head of Development Iberia and Latam" at Panattoni. He brings nearly 25 years of international experience in industrial and logistics real estate, primarily in Spain, France, and Portugal.
Nearly 1.5 Million Square Meters Developed in Fifteen Years by the Subsidiary
Christophe Hamon, current Managing Director of Financière ID, will step down at the end of the year. According to the statement, the appointment of his successor follows on from the work he has conducted.
Over the past fifteen years, Financière ID has developed nearly 1.5 million square meters spread across 34 projects, primarily in Germany, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. The subsidiary supports ID Logistics' real estate development in France and internationally, by designing logistics sites intended to support the group's growth and meet the needs of its customers.
The group emphasized that "his international experience and deep knowledge of the various logistics real estate sectors will be invaluable assets in continuing the development of Financière ID". For his part, Christophe Hamon stated that he was "particularly pleased to hand over the reins to Laurent".
