Orange invests in Biolevate, French AI start-up for healthcare
The telecom group announced a stake acquisition by its venture capital arm Orange Ventures in Biolevate, a French start-up specializing in process automation for life sciences.
This operation is accompanied by collaboration between Orange Business and the young company, supported by Enovalife's expertise in clinical research.
An investment linked to the Trust the future strategy
Orange indicated that the Orange Ventures investment was made as part of Biolevate's latest funding round, described by the start-up as its second round. The group presents this stake acquisition as confirmation of its commitment to the French Tech ecosystem and the support of companies in sectors it qualifies as strategic.
The operation is part of the group's strategy called Trust the future, which aims to promote trusted digital solutions combining innovation, security, responsible AI and operational value, notably in healthcare and life sciences. Orange Ventures supports growing companies likely to create technological, commercial and strategic synergies with the group, particularly in data, AI, digital transformation and e-health.

In addition to the stake acquisition, Orange Business will collaborate with Biolevate by leveraging the expertise of Enovalife, its subsidiary specializing in clinical research, health data and AI. Biolevate's agentic AI platform captures, structures and operationalizes validated scientific and regulatory knowledge, to support teams from pharmaceutical R&D to clinical operations.
According to the group, Biolevate and Enovalife will focus on uses related to clinical development, including the automation of protocol drafting and clinical trial reports, as well as adapting regulatory dossiers to each country's requirements. Biolevate is part of the 2025 class of the French Tech 2030 program and has been supported by Future4Care, an ecosystem of which Orange is a co-founder.
