Pluxee Study: 87% of Employees Attached to Their Company, AI Reassures
The employee benefits specialist released on September 22, 2026 the second edition of its international study on workplace engagement. Conducted by Ipsos among 11,000 employees in 14 countries, it is analyzed by Jean-Baptiste Barféty and Antoine Solom.
Three Paradoxes Revealed by the Survey
According to the study published by Pluxee, conducted by Ipsos in May 2026 among 11,000 employees in 14 countries, three paradoxes structure employee engagement. Work occupies a less central place in employees' lives, yet their attachment to their company is strengthening.
Despite persistent financial pressure, employees say they are ready to leave a job that no longer interests them. And although artificial intelligence is set to profoundly transform their professions, it generates more enthusiasm than fear.
The countries covered are Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. Responses from India were excluded from the consolidated global analysis due to distinct response profiles.
Inflation, Company Attachment and Perception of AI
According to the study, inflation and purchasing power constitute the primary concern of employees, cited by 70% of them globally (74% in France), with 25% stating they cannot help but think about it. Job satisfaction reaches 7.6 out of 10 on average, compared to 7.3 out of 10 for overall life satisfaction.
87% of employees say they like or appreciate their company, up 4 points compared to 2025. Furthermore, 33% of employees globally intend to remain with their company as long as their job remains interesting, up 6 points since 2025 (40% in France, up 10 points).
Regarding artificial intelligence, 65% of employees express a positive attitude toward its use at work (51% in France), with 40% stating they appreciate it. According to the study, 40% say they are confident that their job will not disappear due to AI and 42% believe it will positively transform the content of their work. Aurélien Sonet, Chief Executive Officer of Pluxee, emphasizes that employees see AI as an opportunity rather than a threat.
