Technip Energies has supported the deployment of CTR technology since 1996, contributing to the design, engineering, construction and commissioning activities of facilities.
The group indicates that it has acquired, over this period, expertise in the operation and implementation of this technology.

Stéphane Mespoulhès, Senior Vice-President Ethylene and Polyolefins at Technip Energies, stated that the agreement marked "an important milestone" in the partnership with SABIC and strengthened the group's position in LDPE technology licensing.
He clarified that the offering combines SABIC's CTR technology and Technip Energies' expertise in design, equipment manufacturing and implementation of high-pressure LDPE units.
