Genfit shares break through their €11.46 resistance on the eve of its results
The Lille-based biotech specialising in liver and metabolic diseases accelerates mid-session in a well-oriented Paris market. The move extends a rebound begun at the end of October and comes on the eve of a quarterly publication.
A €11.46 resistance level broken, above the three moving averages
The stock gains 3.79% to €11.50, while the CAC 40 rises 1.53%. Intraday, it broke upward through its highest level of the last 30 sessions, at €11.46, which has since become a support.
The share price is 22.7% above the MA20 (€9.37), so the one-month rebound of 26.4% does not leave the stock far from its reference levels.
The 18.1% decline over three months is reduced without being erased. The next resistance is at €14.66. Genfit also presented on November 2 at the AASLD congress its strategy in ACLF and its diagnosis of MASH, two areas of its scientific programme.
Third-quarter revenue expected Thursday, November 5
The company publishes its third-quarter 2026 revenue tomorrow. The previous financial release of this type followed a first half marked by a widening net loss, reaching €86 million for fiscal year 2025 on revenue of €65 million. Over one year, the stock still shows +223.9%, and over the week +8.7%.
At the last session, Genfit had already stood out among the strongest gainers of the SBF 120. It now ranks among the largest gainers of the index, with a rise of 3.79% while the SBF 120 gains 1.49%. The RSI at 61 remains neutral. The November 5 publication will provide the next key figure on the group's activity.
